Bio

Stagnant Pools formed in 2008 when two brothers (Bryan and Doug) decided to express their collective ideas through music. Both are heavily influenced by the shoegaze/post-punk movements (my bloody valentine, swell maps, JAMC), while maintaining an interest in the sound of dream-pop (beach house, cocteau twins). Though the band only consists of two people, the live show is very loud and engaging, as though there is a wall of sound coming from the delayed guitar riffs.
